Access Melbourne is a program designed to build leadership, confidence, independence and social skills through a variety of excursions. Participants will have the opportunity to visit and enjoy some of Melbourne’s best sights and activities, including ACMI, the NGV, city tours and arts festivals. These excursions aim to develop life skills:

Empowerment

Excursions are planned with input from participants, and guided by their interests.

Responsibility

Managing money, learning how to use public transport and being responsible for planning

Social engagement and well-being

Having fun and making new friends through group activities.

Building knowledge

Through planning, training and participating, clients learn how to navigate activities in the city, both through the program and independently.
