Sharon has been passionate about communal work since a young age. She is studying a Certificate IV in Disability, has a Masters in Diplomacy and Trade and previously worked for both Magen David Adom Victoria and Jewish Care. Sharon joined Access Inc in April 2017 and enjoys using her skills and experience to lead the organisation as it embarks on new challenges and opportunities. Her motto is “‘good enough’ is not good enough, especially when it impacts on someone’s life” and she is passionate about partnering with the community to provide improved opportunities for people with disabilities.
Administration & Projects Officer – Sarah Unger
Sarah is and always has been passionate about education and the not-for-profit sector. She has a background in event management and Jewish informal education. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Secondary Education with the desire to teach Jewish History. Sarah has worked for Jewish organisations in both Melbourne and Sydney including The NSW Board of Jewish Education (BJE), Masada College, Magen David Adom and March of the Living.
Graphic Designer – Veronica Teplitzchi
Veronica is Access Inc’s graphic designer. She studied graphic design at the University of Buenos Aires and recently moved to Melbourne from Argentina. When Veronica is not working at Access she works as an administrative assistant and freelancer for different design and social media projects. Veronica also volunteers as a graphic designer for Mitzvah Day
Marketing and Human Resource Coordinator – Nicole Ellis
Nicole joined Access at the beginning of the year after working as a Volunteer Coordinator at Jewish Care. She has a Bachelor of Commerce/Information Systems and is currently studying Bookkeeping. Nicole is passionate about volunteering and most recently was responsible for the social media campaign for Mitzvah Day.
Hospitality Manager: Nitza Marom
Nitza runs the expanding Access Hospitality Program sharing her passion of cooking with the participants. She enjoys working with the diversity of volunteers who attend each week. Nitza is currently studying a Certificate IV in Disability. She was previously a Hebrew teacher and loves incorporating her bilingual skill into the kitchen.
Life Skills & Access Espresso Coordinator – Jodi Block
Jodi is passionate about working in disability and has been involved in the sector for 4 years. She has completed her Certificate III in Disability and is currently completing her Certificate IV in Disability. She has volunteered in Tanzania at a special needs school and at Flying Fox camps. Outside of Access Jodi is a dance teacher and works at an Escape Room. Jodi’s focus is on skill development and further developing our participants’ independence.
